CROSSTOWN HOTEL?

A year ago, an 11-story Aloft hotel was granted approval to be built in the middle of the Crosstown, at the site of the now-abandoned Wendy's. If built, the hotel would help clean up the surrounding areas, as well as provide a safer pedestrian path around the Crosstown. How is it today? We're asking the same question, as since its approval, not much buzz has gone out surrounding its development.
